The aircraft is intended to replace the Tornado in these roles while expanding Germany\u2019s ability to contribute to integrated NATO air missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Germany\u2019s first F-35A is expected to arrive at B\u00fcchel in 2027, while the wider fleet is planned to reach initial operating capability in 2029 and full operating capability in 2030, <a href=\"https:\/\/defence-industry.eu\/lockheed-martin-says-germanys-first-f-35a-has-completed-its-maiden-flight-ahead-of-planned-delivery-and-luftwaffe-training-in-the-united-states\/\">Defence Industry Europe <\/a>reported. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The introduction will represent a significant modernization of the Luftwaffe\u2019s combat aircraft fleet as Germany transitions away from the Tornado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
