BENGALURU\u2014<\/strong> A London-bound Virgin Atlantic (VS) <\/a>flight carrying approximately 270 passengers returned to Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR), on Sunday after developing a technical issue shortly after takeoff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft had departed for London Heathrow Airport (LHR)<\/a> at around 8:20 a.m. before the crew decided to return to Bengaluru as a safety precaution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft remained in the area near Tumakuru for more than 30 minutes after the technical problem emerged, according to sources at Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight then headed back toward Bengaluru and completed an emergency landing at the airport, with all passengers reported safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virgin Atlantic Technical Issue Emerges After Takeoff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The incident began soon after the aircraft left Bengaluru for its scheduled London service. The crew reportedly identified a technical issue while the aircraft was still relatively close to its departure airport and continued to assess the situation before returning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
