The expansion also supports Air Canada\u2019s long-term growth strategy, which the airline expects will create <strong>more than 1,500 additional direct jobs<\/strong> by 2028 and increase its annual contribution to Canada\u2019s GDP by more than $7 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Air Canada Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Mark Galardo<\/strong> described Summer 2027 as the airline\u2019s most extensive intercontinental expansion to date. The route will be operated with <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=787\">Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft<\/a> equipped with Air Canada Signature, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service will also provide connections at Vancouver to destinations across North America. The airline currently serves Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen and describes itself as the only North American airline offering nonstop flights to Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Canada will operate the Toronto-Oslo route with its Airbus A321XLR fleet.
