MOSCOW\u2014<\/strong> Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned airlines, aviation insurers and foreign governments that Russian airspace <\/a>is becoming increasingly dangerous because of continuing Ukrainian drone activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his September 1 evening address, Zelensky said the growing presence of drones could effectively restrict civil aviation operations across Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warning could affect international carriers that continue to operate through Russian airspace or serve major Russian airports, including Aeroflot (SU)<\/a>, Turkish Airlines (TK), and Emirates (EK). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key destinations include Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO), Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME), Moscow Vnukovo International Airport (VKO), and St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport (LED), where aviation operations have faced disruption from drone-related security measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
