MONTREAL-<\/strong> Air Canada (AC)<\/a> is preparing to reveal 5 new routes for Summer 2027, with the announcement scheduled for September 3, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has released a short video containing hidden clues and is inviting travelers to guess the new destinations for a chance to win a trip for two anywhere Air Canada flies. The clues appear to reference Doha, Switzerland, Lagos, and potentially Ho Chi Minh City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada\u2019s 5 Route Teaser for Summer 2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada is using a puzzle-style campaign to build interest ahead of its September 3 announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline says the new network expansion will be revealed for Summer 2027 and has encouraged customers to identify hidden references in its trailer video. The contest runs from September 1 through September 4, 2026, with a trip for two as the prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The five additions are expected to include new international routes, although not every potential clue necessarily points to a completely new destination. A new route can also mean a new airport pairing involving a city that Air Canada already serves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fleet growth gives Air Canada several ways to expand its international network. The airline took delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR<\/a> in April 2026 and began scheduled passenger service with the aircraft on June 9, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Canada plans to bring a total of 30 A321XLR aircraft into its fleet, with 15 leased and 15 acquired directly from Airbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
