The series was filmed between September 2025 and April 2026 and follows the Duffy family across several US destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boeing, Toyota, Shell, United Airlines, Royal Caribbean and other companies helped finance the production through Great American Road Trip Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Transportation<\/a> says no taxpayer money paid for the show and the Duffy family received no financial compensation, but the arrangement has raised questions because several sponsors have business before, or interests affected by, the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show was filmed during 8 short periods from September 2025 through April 2026. The finished episodes feature family trips through Philadelphia, Boston, Montana, Wyoming, Charleston, Texas, and Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
