PERTH\u2014<\/strong> All Nippon Airways (ANA)<\/a> will restore daily flights between Perth and Tokyo Narita <\/a>during the 2026\u201327 peak travel period, adding more than 26,000 inbound seats to Western Australia. The seasonal increase will run from October 25, 2026, through March 27, 2027, following strong demand for the carrier\u2019s previous daily service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Nippon Airways (NH) will operate the Perth-Narita route between Perth Airport (PER) and Narita International Airport (NRT) every day during the period. The additional capacity is expected to strengthen direct connectivity between Japan and Western Australia while supporting tourism, trade and business travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANA to Restore Daily Perth Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ANA\u2019s expanded schedule represents the second season of daily flights on the route. The airline previously operated daily services between December 2025 and April 2026 after returning to Perth with a seasonal three-times-weekly operation in October 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest schedule will give passengers a consistent nonstop connection between Perth and Tokyo throughout the end-of-year travel period and into early 2027. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANA\u2019s official schedule lists flights NH881<\/strong> from Narita to Perth and NH882<\/strong> from Perth to Narita as daily services from October 25, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move also builds on ANA\u2019s gradual expansion of its Perth operation since its return to the Western Australian market<\/a>. The airline moved toward year-round services after its second seasonal operation in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan Market Continues To Grow Rapidly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Japan remains an important international visitor market for Western Australia, with 33,000 travellers from Japan<\/a> visiting the state in the year ending March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those visitors generated approximately A$111 million<\/strong> in visitor spending, highlighting the economic importance of the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Western Australian Government has supported the route as part of its strategy to increase international visitation and diversify the state\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The additional daily flights are expected to provide more travel options for Japanese visitors while improving access for Western Australians travelling to Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Western Australia Premier and Tourism Minister Roger Cook<\/strong> said the additional capacity would support tourism and trade opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state government also considers the route an important link in Perth\u2019s position as a gateway connecting Western Australia with major international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANA\u2019s increased service comes as Perth Airport records continued growth in international traffic. The airport handled 5.55 million international passengers during the 2025\u201326 financial year, representing an 8.1 percent increase from the previous year, Australian Aviation<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The growth coincides with Perth Airport\u2019s broader One Airport transformation program, which aims to centralise airport operations within a single precinct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rising international traffic and additional airline capacity are expected to strengthen Perth\u2019s role as a major gateway for Western Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For passengers, the return of daily ANA flights provides a more frequent direct option between Perth and Tokyo during a key travel season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expanded schedule also gives the Japanese carrier a stronger presence in a market that continues to attract growing tourism and business demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
