COPENHAGEN\u2014<\/strong> SAS (SK)<\/a> is preparing to strengthen air connectivity between Scandinavia and India with the launch of a year-round nonstop service between Copenhagen (CPH) and Mumbai (BOM)<\/a> from October 1, 2026. The five-times-weekly route will be operated with an Airbus A330, restoring a direct SAS link with India after a 17-year absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new service will connect Copenhagen Airport (CPH) with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM), giving travelers a direct option between Northern Europe and Mumbai, one of India\u2019s leading commercial centers. SAS says the route is fully prepared for operation, with flights available for sale through its booking channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAS Adds Mumbai Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Copenhagen\u2013Mumbai service will operate under flight numbers SK969 and SK970, with five weekly frequencies in each direction. SAS will deploy an Airbus A330<\/a> configured with 266 seats, providing long-haul capacity on the approximately 6,400-kilometer connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
