Trump International Airport<\/strong>, after a lengthy confrontation with airline staff, law enforcement officers, and airport personnel following extensive delays to her flight to <strong>Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred after severe weather disrupted thousands of flights across the United States, including United Airlines (UA) operations. According to flight operations data, more than <strong>12,500 flights<\/strong> were delayed or canceled nationwide as adverse weather created significant operational disruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=FAA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)<\/a> implemented air traffic control delay programs at <strong>Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)<\/strong>, one of United Airlines&#8217; largest hubs. As a result, approximately <strong>36% of United Airlines (UA)<\/strong> flights experienced delays or cancellations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The passenger had been booked on <strong>United Airlines Flight 1395<\/strong> from <strong>Palm Beach International Airport (PBI)<\/strong> to <strong>Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)<\/strong>. Although her boarding pass displayed a scheduled boarding time of <strong>3:52 p.m.<\/strong>, the flight experienced repeated delays throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By the time she arrived at the airport at approximately <strong>9:00 p.m.<\/strong>, the flight had already been delayed by nearly <strong>six hours and 48 minutes<\/strong>. Law enforcement informed her that recording officers was permitted but repeatedly warned that continued disruptive behavior could prevent her from traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the encounter, one deputy advised the passenger that she needed to calm down and appear sober before any further discussions about travel could continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under <strong>Federal Aviation Administration regulations<\/strong>, airlines are prohibited from transporting passengers who appear intoxicated. The passenger responded that she had no money for transportation and explained that her son was in Miami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As officers escorted her toward the terminal exit, she continued filming the interaction while threatening legal action. During the exchange, she also directed racial insults toward one of the deputies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When officers informed her that the conversation had ended and instructed her to leave airport property, she refused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputies then placed her under arrest for trespassing. She did not mention that she had been arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before being transported to jail, she reportedly acknowledged her behavior by saying that being &#8220;mouthy&#8221; was simply part of her personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities initially charged her with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trespassing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resisting an officer without violence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resisting an officer with violence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Court records show that prosecutors later dismissed the felony resisting with violence charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The passenger subsequently entered a pretrial diversion agreement on the remaining misdemeanor charges, which required her to make a <strong>$250 donation to Palm Beach County Victim Services<\/strong>, allowing the case to be resolved without further prosecution under the agreement&#8217;s terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
