However, that achievement lasted only one day before the airline group raised the benchmark again on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday, Turkish Airlines and AJet carried a combined <strong>352,715 passengers<\/strong>. Of that total, Turkish Airlines transported <strong>248,318 travelers<\/strong>, while AJet contributed another <strong>104,397 passengers<\/strong> through its growing domestic and regional network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The operational performance was equally impressive. During the first six months of the year, the airline carried <strong>44.5 million passengers<\/strong>, representing a 5.5% increase compared with the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International traffic remained the primary growth driver, with passenger numbers climbing 6.6% to <strong>29.4 million<\/strong>. Cargo and mail volumes also increased 8.4% to almost 2.17 million tons during the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The carrier currently operates a fleet of 563 aircraft, including 28 dedicated freighters.
