NEW YORK\u2013 <\/strong>JetBlue Airways (B6)<\/a> is offering flight attendants bonuses of up to $5,000<\/strong> to work on their scheduled days off as the airline attempts to recover from several days of operational disruptions that triggered widespread flight cancellations and delays across its network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incentive program comes after severe weather and crew shortages significantly affected operations, particularly at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)<\/a>, where the airline experienced mounting disruptions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The temporary measures are designed to restore crew availability and stabilize flight schedules during one of JetBlue’s most challenging operational periods this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue Begins $5,000 Crew Bonus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to multiple industry reports, JetBlue introduced a special incentive allowing flight attendants to earn up to $5,000<\/strong> by volunteering for additional flying during their scheduled days off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier is also offering monthly performance incentives through its internal “Crewbucks” rewards program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight attendants can reportedly earn between 2,000 and 4,000 Crewbucks<\/strong> throughout August by accepting extra assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The internal reward currency can be redeemed for confirmed travel benefits or converted into cash, making the incentive equivalent to approximately $2,000 to $4,000<\/strong>, PYOK<\/a> flagged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
