Lynne Embleton became Chief Executive Officer of Aer Lingus in 2021, becoming the airline\u2019s first female CEO. She joined Aer Lingus after a distinguished career in aviation and healthcare, including senior leadership positions at IAG and British Airways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before becoming CEO, Embleton served as Managing Director of Aer Lingus and previously held executive positions within IAG\u2019s airline portfolio. Her leadership has been closely associated with the airline\u2019s post-pandemic recovery, transatlantic expansion, and operational improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
