overweight landing because it still carried more fuel than normally permitted for a routine landing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airport fire and rescue teams were positioned alongside the runway as a standard safety measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emergency personnel subsequently inspected the aircraft, including its undercarriage, to ensure there was no overheating caused by the heavier-than-normal landing weight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No abnormalities requiring immediate evacuation were reported, and all 227 passengers and crew disembarked safely without injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft has remained in Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline said affected passengers were provided with hotel accommodation, compensation where applicable, and rebooked onto the next available flights to their final destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although overweight landings are relatively uncommon, they are a well-established operational procedure when an aircraft must land before burning enough fuel to reach its certified landing weight, <a
