LONDON-<\/strong> Air France (AF)<\/a> opened its new lounge at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) on 7 July 2026, marking the first time the carrier offers a dedicated space at this key medium-haul hub. The lounge sits in Terminal 4 and gives travelers a quiet, refined setting to relax or eat before departure or during a layover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open daily from 5 am to 10 pm, the space welcomes Air France (AF) La Premi\u00e8re, Business and Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, along with eligible passengers flying KLM (KL)<\/a> and SkyTeam alliance partners. It reinforces the airline’s connection between London and its Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) hub, where up to six daily flights operate this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside Air France’s New Heathrow Space<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air France teams designed the lounge in collaboration with the agency MARKS Brandimage. The space covers over 750 square meters and holds nearly 150 seats<\/strong>. Large windows fill the room with light and give guests a view of the runways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design displays the airline’s brand identity through its logo, the winged seahorse that serves as Air France’s historic symbol, and a selection of posters that illustrate its heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s signature colors define the atmosphere, using shades of blue, bright white and touches of red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air France selected sleek furniture to deliver comfort while showcasing leading names in French design, including Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin and Christophe Pillet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French Dining and a Dedicated Bar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A dining area anchors the center of the lounge and offers traditional French dishes. The kitchen blends into the dining space, which seats close to sixty guests across a mix of tables for two and one large communal table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menu changes throughout the day and includes hot and cold options, savory and sweet choices, and vegetarian dishes. Travelers can enjoy dishes such as beef bourguignon when the lounge opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bar forms another main feature of the lounge<\/a>. A bartender staffs the space, which serves champagne, French wines, and spirits within a modern, festive setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air France applies a sustainable approach to its catering. The airline prioritizes local and seasonal produce, works to reduce food waste, and sorts and recycles waste from catering services. Water dispensers limit the use of single-use plastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarins Treatment Area<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The lounge features a treatment area run by Clarins, an Air France partner for nearly 20 years. A private treatment room hosts Clarins beauty therapists who address individual beauty concerns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests select one complimentary treatment from three options: ‘Anti Jet-Lag’, ‘L’Instant Detox’ and ‘Focus Regard’. Each treatment uses plant-based formulas and draining techniques tailored to the guest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The treatment area opens Monday to Friday starting 13 July 2026. Guests can book in person at the Clarins reception desk inside the lounge. La Premi\u00e8re customers can also book by calling their dedicated phone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Space for La Premi\u00e8re and Flying Blue Ultimate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La Premi\u00e8re guests enter a private area that delivers bespoke service. The layout follows the La Premi\u00e8re suite found on select long-haul flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It offers five seats with a view of the runways and provides in-seat dining. In the Clarins area, La Premi\u00e8re customers can enjoy a “Destination Relaxation” treatment created for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flying Blue Ultimate members access a separate dedicated area with four comfortable chairs. The space ensures privacy while keeping easy access to all lounge services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essential Lounge Features<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Guests can settle into a range of comfortable chairs to relax, work, or eat. A dedicated relaxation area offers a subdued atmosphere away from view, and a quiet workspace supports travelers who need to focus. Eligibility kiosks at the entrance speed up access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lounge also includes TV screens, free Wi-Fi, and power sockets and USB ports near the seats. Guests can read a selection of French and international digital newspapers and magazines through the Air France Press app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
