ATLANTA-<\/strong> Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> has opened Phase 1 of its second Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), a 4,000-square-foot space with seating for 75 guests on the Mezzanine level of Terminal 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier will also add an 11,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club to Terminal 2 in 2027, expanding its footprint at LAX. These additions bring Delta’s network to 60 lounges worldwide, the largest lounge portfolio held by any U.S.-based airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Opens Second Premium Space at LAX<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new Delta One Lounge sits on the Mezzanine level of Terminal 2 and offers a quieter, more intimate setting than the larger Delta One Lounge<\/a> in Terminal 3. Its design centers on the culinary experience, delivering the same \u00e0 la carte Delta One dining that customers receive in Terminal 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 1 is now open. Phase 2, scheduled for completion in 2028, will renovate the entire space and craft a new Delta One experience aligned with Delta’s other lounges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This investment remains congruent to our strategy of elevating the premium experience both at LAX and across our global network,” said Megan Humphreys, vice president of Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience<\/strong>. “With demand for premium travel continuing to rise and our global footprint expanding, we’re thoughtfully looking at every square foot we have.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the New Lounge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Expansive windows frame views of the airfield and fill the space with natural light. Artwork from seven Los Angeles<\/a>-based creators lines the room, connecting the space to the city’s culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amenities support both rest and refreshment. The Lounge features three showers, four cabana-style bathrooms, and a premium bar. Portable monitors and wireless chargers allow guests to stay powered and productive throughout the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lounge extends the premium Delta One ground experience at LAX into a seamless curb-to-cloud journey. Customers use curbside drop at the arrivals level of Terminal 3, enter private Delta One check-in and security, and can take Delta transportation by golf cart directly to the Terminal 2 Lounge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Culinary-Focused Menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A curated culinary program serves both the Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 Lounges, built around farm-fresh ingredients drawn from California’s agricultural landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our menu incorporates farm-fresh ingredients year-round, drawing inspiration and delectable produce from California’s rich agricultural landscape,” shared Culinary Director Michael Rouleau<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests receive table service from every seat, matching the offerings in Terminal 3. Standout dishes include lamb bolognese with house-made lumache pasta, hamachi crudo with fish flown in daily from Japan, and a classic French onion soup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breakfast options range from acai bowls to huevos rancheros, served alongside fresh daily pastries and small-batch, copper-pot jams from the East Hollywood restaurant Sqirl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premium bar features signature cocktails such as the “Island Sapphire,” inspired by Delta’s LAX to Honolulu (HNL) route. Guests can also enjoy fresh juices, smoothies, and coffee from Santa Cruz roastery Verve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
