ABU DHABI\u2014<\/strong> Condor (DE)<\/a> and Etihad Airways (EY)<\/a> have expanded their strategic partnership with a new interline growth phase that includes a fresh Abu Dhabi (AUH)\u2013Bangkok (BKK) route and an enhanced frequent flyer cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement was made during the IATA<\/a> Annual General Meeting in Rio de Janeiro (GIG), where both carriers outlined their joint network strategy. The development marks a significant step in their ongoing collaboration across multiple regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Condor and Etihad highlighted that the expansion strengthens connectivity between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia through Abu Dhabi as a central hub. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Abu Dhabi Bangkok Route Launch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Condor will launch a new daily Abu Dhabi\u2013Bangkok service operated with the Airbus A330neo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will operate between Abu Dhabi (AUH)<\/a> and Bangkok (BKK), supporting both point-to-point demand and onward connectivity, while improving schedule efficiency for long-haul operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will continue its nonstop Frankfurt\u2013Bangkok service from Frankfurt (FRA), ensuring the new route adds capacity rather than replacing existing operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Abu Dhabi\u2013Bangkok flight will form part of Condor\u2019s Fifth Freedom rights structure, allowing passengers to travel between two foreign countries on a service linked to its wider network, AeroTelegraph<\/a> flagged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft will include a short turnaround in Abu Dhabi for servicing and operational preparation before continuing its schedule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
