MONTREAL-<\/strong> Bombardier<\/a> has confirmed that its Global 8000 business jet set its first speed record on a flight from Montreal (YUL), Canada, to Nice (NCE), France. The aircraft completed the mission in just over six hours, carrying passengers to the Monaco F1 Grand Prix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Global 8000 holds a top speed of Mach 0.95 and a range of 8,000 nautical miles, which Bombardier positions as the fastest and most luxurious jet in the industry. The record on the Montreal to Nice route highlights the aircraft’s ultra-long-range capability and speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Global 8000 transports passengers quicker, farther, and more efficiently than ever before, according to Bombardier. On this specific flight, the jet flew passengers from Canada to the south of France for the Monaco<\/a> F1 Grand Prix, completing the trip in a little over six hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft combines a Mach 0.95 top speed with a range of 8,000 nautical miles, a pairing Bombardier describes as setting the pace in the ultra-long-range class. Bombardier markets it as both the fastest and the most luxurious aircraft in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
