DOHA\u2014<\/strong> Qatar Airways (QR) <\/a>is significantly expanding its operations between Hamad International Airport (DOH)<\/a> in Doha and Dubai International Airport<\/a> (DXB), increasing services from two daily flights to five daily flights as passenger demand continues to grow across the Gulf region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion began on June 5, 2026, with the introduction of a third daily flight. Qatar Airways announced that additional frequencies will be added in phases over the coming weeks, strengthening connectivity between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates while offering travelers greater flexibility and more scheduling options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai’s Growth and International Expansion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways is gradually restoring and expanding its presence in the UAE market through increased services to Dubai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier confirmed that the route will grow from the current two daily flights to five daily flights by the summer season, resulting in up to 35 weekly flights between Doha and Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline introduced its third daily service on June 5. A fourth daily flight will begin on June 15, while the fifth daily service will return later during the peak summer travel period, The Peninsula Qatar flagged<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways plans to operate the additional flights using a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both widebody aircraft offer substantial passenger capacity and premium cabin options, supporting the airline\u2019s strategy of serving both business and leisure travelers on one of the region\u2019s busiest air corridors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
