Despite receiving hospital treatment, she was returned to the airport detention facility after each visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ACLU further claims that requests for additional food for both the mother and child were denied. Attorneys argue that the conditions created significant physical and emotional stress for the family while they remained in custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the legal filing, Gyasi eventually signed deportation paperwork because she feared for her health and the well-being of her unborn child.
