DUBAI\u2013<\/strong> Emirates Airline (EK)<\/a> has unveiled a finely crafted miniature of its flagship Airbus A380 at Mini-Europe, the well-known miniature park in Brussels (BRU). The replica now sits among the park’s collection of European landmarks, scale displays, and animations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline, which connects Brussels (BRU) to its Dubai (DXB)<\/a> hub, says the new display brings its premium travel experience closer to visitors. Built at a 1:25 scale, the model took more than 60 hours of detailed work to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Closer Look at the Handcrafted A380<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mini-Europe’s expert modellers replicated the Emirates A380 in precise detail, capturing both the distinctive shape of the aircraft and the airline’s iconic livery. The work took over 60 hours to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although built at a 1:25 scale, the model remains large. It measures nearly three meters in length at 292 cm, with a wingspan of 320 cm and a height of 45 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every element, from the proportions of the fuselage to the fine details of the livery, reflects the craftsmanship behind Mini-Europe’s creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why the A380 Matters to Emirates<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Emirates is the world’s largest international airline and the world’s largest operator of the A380<\/a>. The double-decker aircraft has become closely tied to the carrier’s premium product and its wide global network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Pierre Martin, Emirates’ Country Manager in Belgium, said the aircraft now means more than transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that the A380 symbolises the joy of travel and exploring the world, and that the Mini-Europe display lets visitors experience the flagship aircraft up close while marking the airline’s long connection with Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Step for Mini-Europe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The arrival of the model marks a fresh chapter for Mini-Europe. The park celebrates Europe’s cultural heritage while also highlighting its links with the wider world. Long-haul aviation supports that goal by bringing people and cultures together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinciane Mee\u00f9s, Managing Director of Mini-Europe<\/strong>, said the journey begins for visitors right away. She invited guests to admire the aircraft and imagine themselves on board, heading to their next destination. She added that the park is proud to showcase Emirates as a symbol of global connectivity with Europe, alongside Airbus as a key partner in European innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates’ Growing Presence in Brussels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emirates has served Brussels for more than 11 years and has carried over 3 million passengers to and through Dubai. During this period, the airline has steadily improved its service in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates added a second daily frequency and introduced its latest aircraft to Belgian skies, including the fully retrofitted Boeing 777<\/a> fitted with Premium Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, the airline operated a special one-off A380 flight into Brussels Airport to mark the opening of the airport’s first A380-capable gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
