From 25 October 2026 to 16 January 2027, travellers will find 8 First Class seats per day, supplied by two Boeing 777-300ER rotations. From 17 January 2027 to 27 March 2027, the figure rises to 10 First Class and Suites seats per day, with one Boeing 777-300ER paired with one Airbus A380.

The third daily rotation continues to operate using the Airbus A350 Long Haul, which does not carry a First Class cabin. This aircraft will progressively receive new Business Class seats and Starlink Wi-Fi from 2027, Mainly Miles reported.

Major Shift From Last Year

The most significant change is the upgrade of SQ281/282 from the A350 Long Haul to the Boeing 777-300ER.

During the 2025/26 northern winter season, First Class was restricted to a single daily flight, SQ285/286, capped at four First Class seats early in the season and rising to six Suites from mid-January.

For 2026/27, the same SQ285/286 cycle continues, but the addition of the 777-300ER on SQ281/282 effectively doubles First Class capacity for the first three months.

The upgauge also lifts Business Class capacity from 42 to 48 seats and Premium Economy from 24 to 28 seats. Economy Class sees a minor reduction from 187 to 184 seats.

Singapore Airlines First Class | Photo: Daniel Gillaspia

The 2013 First Class Product

The Boeing 777-300ER fleet features Singapore Airlines’ 2013 First Class seat in a single-row cabin with four seats in a 1-2-1 layout.

A large void behind the middle pair allows cabin crew to move discreetly between aisles.
