LONDON-<\/strong> British Airways (BA)<\/a> has significantly reduced its summer 2026 flight schedule to several Middle Eastern destinations as regional instability continues to affect airline operations across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier confirmed that routes connecting London Heathrow Airport (LHR)<\/a> with cities including Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, and Tel Aviv will operate at lower frequencies through October 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The schedule adjustment affects seven Middle Eastern destinations and comes after what the airline described as a detailed operational review. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Airways said the temporary cuts are designed to improve schedule reliability while offering clearer travel options to passengers during a period of heightened uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Airways Dubai Flights Reduced<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

British Airways has reduced its London\u2013Dubai<\/a> service from three daily flights to one daily operation for most of the summer season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline expects to restore a full daily schedule beginning August 1, while a second daily service is scheduled to return from October 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights to Doha, Riyadh<\/a>, and Tel Aviv have also been reduced from twice daily to once daily services. The airline indicated that regular operations on those routes are expected to resume in August if operational conditions improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai remains one of British Airways\u2019 most important long-haul destinations in the Middle East, serving both business and leisure travelers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Suspends Bahrain Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

British Airways has suspended flights to Bahrain (BAH)<\/a> and Amman (AMM) for the remainder of the summer schedule. Services to both destinations are currently expected to restart on October 25, coinciding with the beginning of the airline\u2019s winter timetable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier also confirmed that its Jeddah (JED) route was permanently discontinued on April 24 following a separate commercial and operational review, Gulf News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That decision marked the end of one of the airline\u2019s long-running Saudi Arabian routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several international airlines have adjusted Middle East schedules in recent months as carriers continue monitoring airspace restrictions, geopolitical tensions, and operational risks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
