SINGAPORE-<\/strong> Lufthansa (LH)<\/a> will introduce its latest Allegris premium cabin products on flights between Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)<\/a> and Munich Airport (MUC)<\/a> from October 26, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move will mark the first deployment of Lufthansa Allegris First Class to Singapore and one of the earliest Southeast Asian routes to receive the airline\u2019s long-delayed cabin upgrade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The German flag carrier confirmed that its daily Airbus A350-900 service on the Munich route will switch to Allegris-equipped aircraft for the Northern Winter 2026\/27 schedule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The upgrade will significantly improve the onboard experience for travelers flying between Singapore and Germany, especially in premium cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa’s Allegris Singapore Launch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa will operate Airbus A350 aircraft configured with Allegris on flights LH768 from Munich to Singapore and LH769 on the return leg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outbound flight from Munich will depart at 10:20 PM and arrive in Singapore at 5:25 PM the following day, while the return service leaves Singapore at 11:45 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deployment represents a major change from Lufthansa\u2019s current A350 configuration on the route, which still uses an older Business Class layout in a 2-2-2 arrangement without direct aisle access for every passenger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline\u2019s updated Allegris cabins are designed to offer more privacy, flexibility, and modern premium seating options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore also becomes one of the first Southeast Asian destinations to receive Lufthansa\u2019s upgraded product after Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL)<\/a>, where Allegris Business Class will debut on Boeing 787-9 services to Frankfurt later in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Class Returns on the Munich-Singapore route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new service will also restore Lufthansa First Class on the Munich-Singapore route for the first time in more than a decade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa last operated First Class between the two cities in 2012 using Airbus A340-300 aircraft before the route was suspended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Allegris First Class cabin on the Airbus A350 features only three suites arranged in a 1-1-1 layout. Each suite includes floor-to-ceiling privacy walls, sliding doors, a lie-flat bed, wireless charging, and a large entertainment screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A standout feature is the \u201cFirst Class Suite Plus,\u201d a larger middle suite designed for two passengers traveling together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suite converts into a double-bed setup and includes additional personal space compared to standard First Class seating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industry observers expect award availability for the new First-Class cabin to remain extremely limited because Lufthansa traditionally prioritizes premium award inventory for its Miles & More loyalty members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa’s Business Class Upgrade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa\u2019s Allegris Business Class introduces direct aisle access at every seat, bringing the airline in line with global premium travel standards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabin includes seven different seating styles, including Business Suites with privacy doors, extra-long bed seats, and throne-style single seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has invested approximately EUR 70 million into upgraded onboard dining, amenities, and premium services across its long-haul network, Mainly Miles reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines continue to expand cooperation under their joint venture partnership on Europe-Singapore routes. Singapore Airlines recently announced plans to increase Munich services to 10 weekly flights from late 2026, further strengthening connectivity between Singapore and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
