MOSCOW-<\/strong> Russia’s flag carrier Aeroflot (SU)<\/a> will restart scheduled passenger flights between Moscow (MOW) and Dubai (DXB) on June 1, 2026. The airline plans one daily flight during June, then two daily flights from July 1, and ticket sales are already open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route returns after airspace closures across several Middle Eastern countries in late February disrupted regional travel. Russian aviation authorities have since eased several restrictions, clearing the way for the carrier to rebuild its service to the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aeroflot to Resume Moscow to Dubai Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aeroflot confirmed the return of the Moscow to Dubai<\/a> route in a statement carried by TASS and reported by News.Az<\/a>. The carrier said the service will operate once a day in June, then move to twice daily from July 1. The airline has placed the route on sale, and passengers can book seats now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phased build up points to steady demand expectations. A single daily rotation in the first month gives the airline room to test loads before adding a second frequency for the peak summer period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aeroflot will operate the Moscow to Dubai service using Boeing 737 aircraft<\/a>. The jets are fitted in a two class layout, offering an economy cabin and a business cabin. This setup supports both leisure travelers and premium passengers on the popular Russia to UAE corridor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspension followed the closure of airspace in several Middle Eastern countries in late February during a period of rising regional tensions. The disruption forced Russian carriers to pause a range of routes across the region and limited connectivity between Russia and key Gulf destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russian Regulators Ease Restrictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Between April 16 and May 15, the Federal Air Transport Agency permitted flights to Israel between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. Moscow time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agency also withdrew its recommendation to halt ticket sales for flights to the UAE and lifted restrictions on the use of Iranian airspace. These steps reopened planning options for Russian airlines serving the Gulf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO Signaled a Phased Return<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In late April, Aeroflot CEO Sergey Alexandrovsky told TASS that the airline would decide on resuming UAE flights at a later stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier has now acted on that position by opening sales for services starting June 1, confirming Dubai as one of the first Gulf points to return to its network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
