Authorities immediately activated emergency response procedures after the airline\u2019s customer support reportedly received an email claiming an explosive device had been planted aboard flight LH754.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft landed safely in Hyderabad before being escorted to an isolation bay for a comprehensive security inspection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa Flight Security Alert At Hyderabad Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Airport sources told multiple Indian media outlets that the threatening email warned the device would detonate before the aircraft reached Shamshabad, where Hyderabad\u2019s international airport is located. Security agencies were placed on high alert immediately after the message was received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After touchdown, the aircraft was isolated away from the passenger terminal in accordance with international aviation security procedures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials deployed bomb disposal teams and conducted a methodical inspection of the cabin, cargo compartments, and passenger baggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2025, Lufthansa flight LH752, operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, was forced to return to Frankfurt after authorities received a bomb threat while the aircraft was en route to India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to statements cited by PTI and other publications at the time, Lufthansa said the diversion decision had been taken \u201cout of an abundance of caution\u201d after authorities were informed of a threat posted on social media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft later landed safely back in Germany, and passengers were accommodated before resuming their journey the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad Airport has also handled a growing number of hoax alerts targeting international flights from carriers including British Airways, Emirates, KLM, and IndiGo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Separately, adverse weather conditions disrupted operations at Hyderabad Airport on Friday, compounding the operational challenges caused by the security alert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong winds forced two inbound flights to divert after unsuccessful landing attempts at HYD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials said a Pune-Hyderabad flight diverted to Vijayawada Airport, while an Emirates service arriving from Dubai was rerouted to Bengaluru after both aircraft reportedly attempted to land twice before air traffic controllers directed them to alternate airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airport authorities stated that both the bomb-threat response and weather-related diversions were managed under established aviation safety procedures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
