BOSTON\u2013<\/strong> Porter Airlines (PD)<\/a> is expanding its cross-border network with the launch of new nonstop services linking Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)<\/a> to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) and Montreal Trudeau Airport (YUL)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new routes strengthen the airline\u2019s footprint in the Northeastern United States while improving connectivity between major Canadian cities and New England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier announced that Toronto Pearson-Boston flights will operate 14 times weekly using the Embraer E195-E2, while Montreal-Boston service will run daily aboard the De Havilland Dash 8-400. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The additions complement Porter\u2019s existing Boston operations from Toronto City Airport (YTZ) and Ottawa International Airport (YOW), bringing the airline\u2019s total Boston schedule to eight daily flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porter said the expansion is designed to offer travelers greater flexibility and improved access to one of the United States\u2019 busiest business and tourism markets. Boston remains a key destination due to its universities, financial sector, healthcare industry, and growing innovation economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Toronto Pearson route also marks the first appearance of Porter\u2019s Embraer E195-E2 aircraft<\/a> at Boston Logan. Passengers flying on the jet will have access to complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, a feature available across the airline\u2019s E195-E2 fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrew Pierce, Vice President of Network Planning and Reporting at Porter<\/strong>, said Boston has remained an important market for the airline since it first launched service there in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the new routes from Toronto Pearson and Montreal represent another step in strengthening Porter\u2019s presence in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Massport Executive Director of Aviation Ed Freni<\/strong> said the new services improve direct access between Boston and two major Canadian gateways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Freni, the routes also provide passengers with more travel options and flexibility when connecting across North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly launched services also enhance onward connections for travelers transiting through Toronto Pearson and Montreal Trudeau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boston passengers can now access Porter\u2019s broader domestic network, including destinations such as Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, and Vancouver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through Porter\u2019s joint venture partnership with Air Transat (TS), travelers will also gain easier access to transatlantic destinations. These include major European cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, and Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
