DUBAI-<\/strong> Emirates (EK)<\/a> has once again delayed the return of its Airbus A380 services on two major international routes from Dubai International Airport (DXB)<\/a>. The airline has postponed the superjumbo\u2019s comeback to Perth Airport (PER)<\/a> in Australia and V\u00e1clav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) in the Czech Republic as operational pressures continue to impact Gulf carriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest schedule update shows that Emirates has removed additional Airbus A380 operations from its May and June timetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline had originally planned to restore daily A380 flights to both Perth and Prague from June 1, but the revised schedule now pushes the return date to July 1. The changes come as airlines continue adjusting operations following disruptions linked to the regional conflict involving Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates A380 Cuts on These Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emirates has significantly reduced Airbus A380<\/a> operations across its network in recent months. According to updated scheduling data, the carrier has now removed another portion of planned A380 flights during May and June, extending reductions already implemented earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline last operated the Airbus A380 between Dubai and Perth on March 14. Since then, Emirates has primarily used the Airbus A350-900 on the route, while Boeing 777-200ER<\/a> and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft have also appeared on select services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision allows Emirates to reduce capacity on the long-haul Australian route while maintaining operational flexibility. Lower seat availability can help airlines manage demand more efficiently during periods of geopolitical uncertainty and fluctuating travel patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the revised schedule, Emirates will resume Airbus A380 operations between Dubai and Perth on July 1 instead of June 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will continue using the airline\u2019s four-class, 468-seat Airbus A380 configuration, which includes first class suites, premium economy, business class, and economy seating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Airbus A380 remains a flagship aircraft for Emirates and plays a major role on high-demand long-haul routes. However, the airline has increasingly adjusted deployment of the type as operational conditions evolve across the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates’ Return to Prague Using the A380 Delayed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prague has faced a similar situation. Emirates last deployed the Airbus A380 to Prague on March 23 before replacing the aircraft with Boeing 777-300ER operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route has mainly seen the airline\u2019s 360-seat Boeing 777 configuration in recent weeks, although the smaller 332-seat version is also expected to operate. Both aircraft variants feature first-class cabins, while the 332-seat configuration additionally includes premium economy seating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates had intended to bring back Airbus A380 flights to Prague from June 1, Simple Flying <\/a>flagged. However, the latest update now shows that the superjumbo will not return until July 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
