MUNICH-<\/strong> Singapore Airlines (SQ)<\/a>, one of the world’s most renowned carriers, will expand its operations at Munich Airport (MUC) from the start of the winter 2026 schedule in late October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekly frequencies will rise from seven to ten flights, with three new evening departures offering a comfortable overnight option to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion deepens Singapore Airlines’ joint venture with Lufthansa Group<\/a>, which together will provide 17 weekly connections between Munich (MUC) and Singapore (SIN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combined with services from Frankfurt Airport (FRA), Singapore Airlines will operate 24 weekly flights linking Germany directly to its Changi hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines Munich Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines (SQ) currently operates daily midday flights from Munich Airport<\/a>. From the winter 2026 schedule, the airline will add 3 evening rotations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new evening service will depart Munich at 8:30 PM local time and arrive at Singapore Changi Airport at 3:15 PM the following day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overnight schedule provides travelers with another comfortable option for flying to Asia. Passengers will also benefit from optimized layover times and improved connections from Singapore to numerous destinations across Asia and the Pacific region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The existing daily noon departure from Munich will continue under the revised schedule, ensuring travelers retain both daytime and overnight choices to Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines and Lufthansa Group operate as Star Alliance members and joint venture partners on routes between Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expanded Munich schedule will lift the combined weekly capacity between Munich and Singapore to 17 services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new evening arrival window in Singapore is designed to optimize layovers for travelers continuing beyond Changi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines will offer onward links to a wide array of destinations, including Bangkok (BKK), Denpasar in Bali (DPS), Koh Samui (USM), Jakarta (CGK), and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The schedule also supports onward services to nearly all Singapore Airlines routes to Australia and New Zealand, giving German market travelers shorter total journey times to the South Pacific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oliver Dersch, Senior Vice President Aviation at Munich Airport, said the carrier is further expanding its commitment to the premium hub in Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the change means more choices, greater flexibility, and excellent connections to many destinations in the Asia-Pacific region for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alastair Haycampbell, General Manager of Singapore Airlines for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, stated that the new evening departures create excellent onward connections to a wide array of destinations across Southeast Asia and Oceania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He described the expanded schedule as a significant step in strengthening the carrier’s footprint within the German market, while offering customers greater flexibility and choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 24 combined weekly flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Singapore under the 2026 winter schedule, Singapore Airlines will operate one of its largest European route networks from Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
