SAN FRANCISCO\u2014<\/strong> LOT Polish Airlines (LO)<\/a> has expanded its transatlantic footprint with the launch of its first-ever direct service between Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW), Poland, and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural flight operated on 6 May 2026, marking a significant milestone in the carrier\u2019s North American network development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new long-haul service operates during the 2026 summer schedule and strengthens LOT Polish Airlines\u2019 presence on the US West Coast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has positioned the route as a strategic link between Central and Eastern Europe and one of the world\u2019s most influential technology and business hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LOT Polish San Francisco Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

LOT Polish Airlines officially launched the Warsaw\u2013San Francisco route on 6 May 2026, introducing up to four weekly flights using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service is scheduled to operate until 22 October 2026, aligning with peak summer travel demand between Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight LO35<\/strong> departs Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 17:40 and on Thursdays and Sundays at 11:15. The return service, operating as LO36 and LO38, departs San Francisco International Airport (SFO) at 15:50 and 22:15 on corresponding days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total flight duration is approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline stated that the route strengthens its position in the competitive transatlantic market while enhancing connectivity for both business and leisure travellers between Poland and the US West Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
