DUBAI-<\/strong> Emirates (EK)<\/a> has announced a 20-week basic salary bonus for all 130,000 employees of the Emirates Group, following the airline’s record annual profit of $6.6 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dubai-based carrier, headquartered near Dubai International Airport (DXB), confirmed the payout shortly after declaring its second consecutive year as the world’s most profitable airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest profit-sharing scheme translates to roughly a 38% bonus on basic salaries for staff across the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although slightly lower than last year’s 22-week payout, the bonus continues a streak of generous rewards tied to strong financial performance, reinforcing Emirates’ reputation among Gulf carriers for staff compensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a financial year that produced a record-breaking $6.6 billion profit, the company has chosen to extend its trend of large salary bonuses to its global workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 20 week figure applies strictly to basic salary, not total compensation. For many flight crew members, basic pay forms only one component of earnings, supplemented by hourly flying pay and other allowances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the actual cash value of the bonus varies significantly across job categories, even though every employee receives the same proportional reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
