FORT WORTH-<\/strong> American Airlines (AA)<\/a> has fired a Philadelphia (PHL)-based flight attendant after she posted a satirical video on social media joking about the ongoing conflict with Iran. The termination, which took place in March 2026, also cited several other policy violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight attendant, known online as “Jumpseat Jasmine,”<\/strong> shared the news on her Instagram account. She expressed no hard feelings toward American Airlines and described the firing as a positive turning point toward her goal of becoming a full-time content creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Flight Attendant Terminated<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The video that appeared on her termination letter was a satire skit posted in early March 2026, shortly after the start of the U.S. conflict with Iran, OMAAT<\/a> flagged exclusively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the skit, the flight attendant pretended to be on a phone call with Iran, making references to the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon, the White House, and the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The content was widely viewed as inappropriate and inflammatory, particularly given the sensitive geopolitical climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
