The decision comes amid sustained combat operations in the Middle East, where the platform continues to play a critical operational role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Force Secretary Troy Meink confirmed the move, stating that the decision followed consultations with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
