The airline unveiled its redesigned First Class Lounge on April 17 and its Prestige Class West Lounge on April 16 in Terminal 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project represents a <strong>KRW 110 billion investment<\/strong> aimed at expanding capacity and elevating passenger experience ahead of Korean Air\u2019s integration with Asiana Airlines. The layout now includes an open hall and 11 private suites designed for individual relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline structured the lounge around the concept of a \u201chome away from home,\u201d using traditional Korean architectural elements such as wooden beams, ramie textures, and heritage-inspired design details. Guests are guided directly into private suites upon entry for a secluded pre-flight experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dining is offered \u00e0 la carte and uses premium tableware, including Christofle cutlery, Bernardaud porcelain, and Baccarat glassware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lounge also showcases curated artwork by international and Korean artists, including Anish Kapoor. The design reflects Korean Air\u2019s premium cabin identity with gold, black, and ivory tones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lounge features a full buffet with Korean and Western cuisine, live cooking stations, seasonal menus, and desserts prepared by Grand Hyatt chefs. Traditional Korean snacks such as yakgwa are included alongside rotating seasonal selections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Korean Air has also integrated digital art installations that change based on viewing angles and time of day. Seating capacity has increased from 898 to 1,566 seats across the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline now operates seven lounges at Incheon Terminal 2, supporting First Class, Prestige, and club-level passengers. Travelers can reserve access using the airline\u2019s mobile app and website-based lounge reservation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Korean Air plans to extend similar infrastructure upgrades to key international hubs, including Gimpo International Airport and New York <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/jfk-airport\/\">John F.
