The image showed rising smoke from an Iranian drone strike near Dubai International Airport (DXB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities acted under strict cybercrime laws that ban sharing content seen as harmful to national security or Dubai&#8217;s reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police used electronic surveillance to identify the crew member, who works for Emirates (EK). The Emirates (EK) crew member was at home in company-provided housing when he felt the building shake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He saw smoke from a drone interception outside and took a photo, then sent it to a private WhatsApp group of colleagues. Terminal 3 serves as the main hub for Emirates (EK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports indicate the strike damaged an Emirates Airbus A380 superjumbo and a Saudia Airlines <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=A321\">Airbus A321<\/a> jet parked nearby. Authorities released limited details but confirmed a fuel tank fire in one related incident that temporarily disrupted operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A video of the explosion spread online despite prior warnings. The British flydubai (FZ) flight attendant shared the video in a private group while asking coworkers if it was safe to head to the airport for duty.
