SEATTLE-<\/strong> Alaska Airlines (AS)<\/a> introduces its first ever International Business Class Suites on long-haul routes from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), marking a major step in its global expansion strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will deploy the product on routes to Rome (FCO), London (LHR), Seoul (ICN), Tokyo (NRT), and Reykjav\u00edk (KEF), strengthening connectivity through the oneworld Alliance<\/a> network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The product debuts on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/a>, combining efficiency with a refined passenger experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each suite features a fully lie-flat bed, sliding privacy door, and direct aisle access. The seating converts into a true flat sleeping surface designed for long-haul comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabin includes 18-inch HD entertainment screens with access to over 1500 movies and TV shows, noise-reducing headsets, personal power outlets, and wireless charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dining is structured as a multi-course culinary journey reflecting both West Coast identity and global destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The experience begins with a curated cheese and charcuterie board, an evolution of Alaska\u2019s signature fruit and cheese offering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beverage selections include premium labels such as Stag\u2019s Leap wines, Roederer Champagne, West Coast craft beer, handcrafted cocktails, mineral water, and Stumptown coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meal service continues with appetizers followed by a personalized main course with up to 6 entr\u00e9e options. Route-specific dishes include pasta carbonara on Rome flights and Gochujang chicken with banchan on Seoul services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A signature entr\u00e9e developed with Brady Ishiwata Williams features short rib sourced from Klingemann Farms. Guests can pre-select meals through Alaska\u2019s mobile app before departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dessert service introduces a dedicated cart with customizable Salt & Straw sundaes and artisanal sweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to landing, passengers receive a destination-inspired meal such as a traditional English breakfast on London routes. This layered dining approach enhances differentiation in premium cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaska Airlines enhances onboard rest through collaboration with Filson. Business Class bedding includes a mattress pad, oversized duvet, and multiple ergonomic pillows designed for sleep and relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amenity kits come in two exclusive designs and include skincare products from Salt & Stone along with essentials for long-haul travel. Each passenger also receives a reusable bottle developed with PATH Water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers gain access to Alaska lounges and global partner lounges within oneworld. Emerald-tier members receive First Class lounge access regardless of ticket class, a benefit unique to the alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline plans to install high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink<\/a> on its 787-9 fleet starting this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service is already available on select aircraft and will offer gate-to-gate connectivity. From May, passengers must log in using their Atmos Rewards account, with complimentary access provided through Alaska\u2019s partnership with T-Mobile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch aligns with Alaska Airlines\u2019 international growth strategy from Seattle. Services to Rome begin on April 28, followed by London on May 21 and Reykjav\u00edk on May 28. Flights to Seoul commence in April, with Tokyo scheduled for later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reykjav\u00edk route, operating on a 737 MAX 8, features a tailored premium experience suited to its approximately 7 hour duration. Meanwhile, long-haul routes to Europe and Asia utilize the 787-9 platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alaska\u2019s five year milestone within the oneworld alliance strengthens its reach to over 900 global destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline positions Seattle as a primary international gateway while reinforcing its identity as a West Coast global carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
