The updated network took effect on March 29, 2026, and introduces greater flexibility for customers navigating evolving supply chain demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operating from its primary hub at <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/tag\/frankfurt-airport\/\">Frankfurt Airport (FRA)<\/a>, the cargo carrier will deploy a fleet of 18 Boeing 777 freighters across a wide international network. Asia continues to play a vital role, with up to <strong>48 weekly connections <\/strong>linking 17 destinations across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline has increased its transpacific operations, adding a second weekly rotation on the Ho Chi Minh City\u2013Shanghai\u2013Los Angeles route. This makes it the only carrier offering main deck cargo capacity between Vietnam and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=China\">China<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India also sees renewed focus as Delhi re-enters the freighter network with a weekly service. This network allows efficient cargo distribution across Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Short- and medium-haul <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=A321\">Airbus A321<\/a> freighters now serve Rome and Algiers weekly, contributing to 33 intra-European and Africa-linked connections. These routes enable faster turnaround and improved regional connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enhanced cooperation with SWISS WorldCargo supports operational synergies and aligns service offerings. The inclusion of Lufthansa City Airlines into the belly cargo portfolio further boosts network flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several long-haul passenger routes now offer increased cargo capacity. These include expanded services from Frankfurt to St. Louis, Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Raleigh\/Durham, and Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional frequencies to Washington and Toronto, along with resumed services to Minneapolis and Los Angeles, strengthen North American connectivity. Meanwhile, Munich continues to support key long-haul routes to S\u00e3o Paulo and Johannesburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other group carriers, including Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, ITA Airways, and SunExpress, are also expanding routes and frequencies.
