PARIS-<\/strong> Air France (AF)<\/a> has unveiled its summer 2026 schedule with a focus on network expansion and operational realignment. The airline plans to serve nearly 170 destinations across 73 countries while increasing long-haul capacity to meet evolving global demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)<\/a>, the airline is strengthening its role as a central hub for international and domestic connectivity. Key global airports such as New York John F. Kennedy (JFK)<\/a>, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)<\/a>, and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) will see enhanced connectivity under the new schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air France Summer 2026 Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air France will increase its long-haul capacity by 2 percent compared to summer 2025, with a strong emphasis on North and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will launch a new direct route between Paris and Las Vegas starting April 15, 2026, operating three weekly flights using the Airbus A350-900<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carrier will also strengthen its presence in the United States by adding a second daily service to Newark from June 2026. In total, Air France will offer up to 11 daily flights between Paris and the New York region through its partnership with Delta Air Lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This strategic growth highlights the airline\u2019s focus on high-demand transatlantic routes. It also reinforces Paris Charles de Gaulle\u2019s role as a major gateway for passengers traveling between Europe and the Americas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asia Capacity Boost for Air France<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air France continues to adjust its network in response to the ongoing Middle East crisis, which has disrupted traditional flight paths. The airline has extended the suspension of services to Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh due to security concerns and airspace restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parallel, Air France is increasing capacity to Asia, where demand remains strong. Additional flights and larger aircraft will serve key destinations including Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Tokyo, and Osaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has already deployed widebody aircraft on select routes to optimize seat availability. This trend will continue through summer 2026 as Air France aims to balance network disruptions with passenger demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AF’s Network Restructure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air France is also implementing a major restructuring of its domestic and short-haul operations. From summer 2026, all flights to major French cities such as Toulouse, Nice, and Marseille will operate from Paris Charles de Gaulle instead of other Paris airports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This consolidation aims to improve connectivity for passengers transferring to long-haul flights. Services to French overseas territories, including Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Saint-Denis, and Cayenne, will also shift to CDG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline\u2019s short- and medium-haul network will include over 90 destinations with up to 630 daily flights. Frequencies will increase on several European and Mediterranean routes, including Dublin, London Gatwick, Marrakech, Rabat, Naples, Seville, and Porto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Transavia France will expand its presence from Paris Orly Airport (ORY), operating 230 routes to 109 destinations. This move positions Transavia as the group\u2019s primary low-cost operator from Orly while complementing Air France\u2019s hub strategy at CDG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
