The route will operate three times weekly, expanding the airline\u2019s footprint in Florida alongside its existing Miami service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement, made by the airline\u2019s CEO at the Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market, forms part of a broader North America growth strategy. The service will be flown by a mix of Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, strengthening the airline\u2019s long-haul network between Europe and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flight TP267 will depart Lisbon (LIS) at 12:50 pm and arrive in <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Orlando\">Orlando (MCO)<\/a> at 5:40 pm after a scheduled block time of 9 hours and 50 minutes. The return service, TP268, will depart Orlando at 9:10 pm and land in Lisbon at 10:00 am the following morning, with a flight time of 7 hours and 50 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday flights will be operated by the Airbus A330-200, while Thursday and Saturday services will use the more fuel-efficient A330-900neo. The airline has indicated that frequencies may increase in the future depending on market performance and demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Orlando becomes TAP\u2019s second Florida destination after Miami. The addition strengthens connectivity between Portugal and Central Florida, a major tourism and business market with strong ties to Europe, <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tap-air-portugal-launch-lisbon-orlando-route-october\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Simple Flying<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-broader-north-america-growth-strategy\">Broader North America Growth Strategy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Orlando launch reflects TAP\u2019s renewed focus on the North American market. The airline\u2019s leadership has stated that the United States represents significant long-term growth potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Lisbon\u2013Orlando, TAP recently highlighted new service between Porto and Boston as part of its US expansion. From Lisbon, the airline serves 14 Brazilian destinations, including S\u00e3o Paulo\u2013Guarulhos, Rio de Janeiro\u2013Gale\u00e3o, Bras\u00edlia, Recife, Salvador, and Fortaleza. Additional services operate from Porto to Rio de Janeiro and S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From July 2, TAP will launch three weekly flights to Curitiba Afonso Pena International Airport (CWB). The Airbus A330-200 service will operate on a triangular routing: Lisbon to Curitiba, continuing to Rio de Janeiro, and returning to Lisbon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From October 26, the airline will begin twice-weekly service to S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds\u2013Marechal Cunha Machado International Airport (SLZ) using the Airbus A321LR. The product will debut on the Airbus A330 and A321LR fleets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rather than installing new seats, the airline will designate the front rows of economy as a neighbor-free zone. Passengers will receive premium check-in, priority boarding, fast-track security, priority baggage handling, an enhanced amenity kit, and upgraded meal options. The move aims to capture demand for added comfort without the cost of a full business class fare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets for the Lisbon\u2013Orlando route are now available.
