MANILA-<\/strong> Philippine Airlines (PR)<\/a> has filed for approval to launch nonstop flights between Manila (MNL) and Chicago (ORD) starting in the summer 2026 season. The proposed route would become one of the airline\u2019s longest services to the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Manila (MNL) to Chicago (ORD) service is subject to approval by the US Department of Transportation and is planned for the IATA summer 2026 traffic season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philippine Airlines has formally requested authorization from the US Department of Transportation to operate scheduled passenger flights between Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila (MNL) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)<\/a>. The distance of 8,132 miles places the route among the world\u2019s longest nonstop commercial flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
