The airline\u2019s network strength and capacity growth have directly supported record visitor numbers to the island in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mauritius recorded 1,436,250 visitors in 2025, up 3.9% year on year, with Emirates increasing its own passenger volumes to MRU by 5.7% over the same period. In 2025 alone, the airline carried close to <strong>309,000 visitors<\/strong> from key European markets, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, France, Italy, Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Additional growth came from the United States, China, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Official tourism data confirms that Mauritius surpassed pre-pandemic arrival levels in 2025. The schedule includes two daily Airbus A380 flights and one <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=777\">Boeing 777<\/a> service, providing approximately 10,500 weekly seats into Mauritius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to rising demand, the airline introduced a third daily frequency, increasing seat capacity by roughly 30% on the route. Emirates remains the only airline operating the A380 to Mauritius and the sole carrier offering First Class on the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 29 March, the airline will deploy a retrofitted Boeing 777 featuring Premium Economy cabins on flights <strong>EK709<\/strong> and <strong>EK710<\/strong>. Joint campaigns focus on high-value travellers across Europe, the GCC, North America, and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2022, more than 30 leading travel agents from Europe and GCC markets have participated in familiarisation trips to Mauritius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline has also organised roadshows, workshops, and training sessions in partnership with hotels and tourism stakeholders. These initiatives provide agents with product knowledge and sales incentives to promote tailored holiday packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marketing support includes targeted advertising campaigns, influencer visits, and media familiarisation trips.
