DUBAI-<\/strong> Emirates (EK)<\/a> has scheduled Airbus A350-900 aircraft on multiple routes from Dubai International Airport (DXB), according to recent timetable filings. The updates indicate fleet changes across six international destinations starting late 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The affected routes include Addis Ababa (ADD), Copenhagen (CPH), Hanoi (HAN), Kolkata (CCU), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), and Tehran Imam Khomeini (IKA). Although the schedule lists the A350-900, current booking systems continue to display Boeing 777 variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus A350-900 Network Expansion from Dubai<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emirates\u2019 latest schedule filing, dated 20 February 2026 at 0800 GMT, shows the Airbus A350-900 assigned to six additional routes. These changes are not yet formally announced by the airline, but they appear in the carrier\u2019s internal scheduling system, Aeroroutes<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deployment reflects a gradual transition from Boeing 777 aircraft to the newer A350-900 on selected medium and long-haul routes. The A350-900 aircraft listed are configured in either 298-seat or 312-seat layouts, depending on route demand and cabin planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to note that despite the aircraft type appearing in the published schedule, current reservations systems still show Boeing 777-200LR or 777-300ER aircraft operating these services. This suggests the A350 assignment remains subject to operational confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Route-by-Route Aircraft Changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dubai \u2013 Addis Ababa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Effective 1 January 2027, the 298-seat Airbus A350-900 will replace the Boeing 777-200LR on the Dubai to Addis Ababa service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai \u2013 Copenhagen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From 1 December 2026, flights EK151 and EK152 will operate with a 298-seat A350-900, replacing the 777-300ER. The Copenhagen route will see two daily A350-900 frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai \u2013 Hanoi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Beginning 1 January 2027, Emirates plans to deploy the 298-seat A350-900 on the Hanoi route, replacing the 777-300ER.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai \u2013 Kolkata<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Effective 25 October 2026, flights EK570 and EK571 will switch from the 777-300ER to a 312-seat A350-900.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai \u2013 Kuala Lumpur<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From 1 December 2026, EK344 and EK345 are scheduled to operate with a 312-seat A350-900, replacing the 777-300ER.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai \u2013 Tehran Imam Khomeini<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Starting 1 October 2026, flights EK977 and EK978 will transition to a 312-seat A350-900, replacing the 777-300ER.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
