DUBAI-<\/strong> Singapore Airlines (SQ)<\/a> confirms year-round Airbus A380 service between Singapore and Dubai, replacing earlier seasonal plans and increasing premium capacity on the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai now joins London and Sydney as a permanent A380 destination in the airline\u2019s network, ensuring continued access to flagship cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines A380 to Dubai<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines initially planned to operate the Airbus A380<\/a> seasonally on its Singapore to Dubai flights starting March 2026, before reverting to the Boeing 777-300ER in late October. The latest schedule update now shows daily A380 service continuing through the entire Northern Winter 2026 to 2027 season until 27 March 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision signals a firm commitment to maintain higher capacity on the route. The airline is also selling all six Suite Class seats available on the A380 throughout the period. Since the Boeing 777-300ER offers only four First Class seats, continuing to sell six Suites strongly indicates no planned downgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The update also aligns with persistent slot constraints at Dubai International Airport, where securing additional landing rights has limited Singapore Airlines\u2019 expansion plans in recent years. Maintaining larger aircraft solves this constraint by increasing seat capacity without requiring extra frequencies, MainlyMiles<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight Schedule and Seasonal Adjustments<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Singapore Airlines currently operates one daily Singapore to Dubai rotation as SQ494 and SQ495.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 29 March 2026, the Airbus A380 will replace the Boeing 777-300ER on the route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
