DELHI-<\/strong> IndiGo (6E)<\/a> has revised its long-haul network, suspending Copenhagen (CPH) flights and reducing services to Manchester (MAN) and London Heathrow (LHR) to improve reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The changes affect routes from Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM), as IndiGo (6E) adjusts operations to manage airspace restrictions and airport congestion impacting schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo Reduces Europe Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo has implemented network changes across select European routes to maintain operational stability and reduce passenger disruptions caused by external factors affecting long-haul services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline cited longer flight durations due to geopolitical airspace restrictions and congestion at Indian and international airports. These factors have strained operations conducted with six damp-leased Boeing 787-9 aircraft<\/a> currently serving long-haul routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To prevent schedule instability, the airline accelerated network adjustments that were initially planned for the Summer 2026 schedule. The objective is to protect on-time performance and minimize operational risks while maintaining essential connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copenhagen Service Suspended<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo will suspend flights between Delhi and Copenhagen from February 17, 2026, until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has not provided a timeline for resumption, stating that operations will depend on improvements in external operating conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manchester Flights Reduced<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Flights linking India with Manchester will see frequency reductions in phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From February 7, Delhi-Manchester flights reduce from five to four weekly operations. From February 19, frequencies further decline to three weekly services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This change reduces overall weekly connectivity between India and Manchester from nine flights to seven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo began wide-body operations in March 2025 through a dry-lease agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways for six Boeing 787-9 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline plans to induct its own Airbus A350-900 fleet starting early 2028, which is expected to support expansion and operational stability on long-haul routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
