SINGAPORE-<\/strong> Singapore is set to welcome the return of a long-haul premium product as Starlux Airlines (JX)<\/a> confirms the reintroduction of its Airbus A350 on the Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)<\/a> to Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) route. The aircraft will operate daily services from late March through late October 2026, restoring First Class availability on the route after more than a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Taiwanese full-service carrier will replace its current Airbus A330neo<\/a> operations with the larger A350-900 for the northern summer season. The move signals a renewed focus on premium capacity and long-haul connectivity for passengers traveling between Singapore and Taipei, as well as onward destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starlux Redeploys A350 to Singapore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starlux plans to operate the Airbus A350-900 on its daily Singapore\u2013Taipei rotation between 29 March and 24 October 2026. The aircraft will replace the Airbus A330neo currently scheduled on the route until 28 March 2026, based on published timetable data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mainly Miles<\/a>, Flights are timed to support same-day connections through Taipei, allowing smoother transfers for passengers continuing beyond Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A350 deployment is currently limited to the summer schedule, with the A330neo expected to resume operations after late October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of the A350 also marks the reintroduction of First Class on the route, offering a differentiated product not available on the carrier\u2019s A330neo or A321neo services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium Cabin Upgrade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Airbus A350-900 represents a major cabin upgrade over the A330neo currently serving Singapore. Business Class features 26 Collins Elements suites arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, each with sliding privacy doors and fully flat beds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft also introduces a four-seat First Class cabin arranged in a single row, providing enhanced privacy through high suite walls and large personal entertainment screens. This makes Starlux the only Taiwanese airline currently offering a First Class product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the A350 includes a dedicated Premium Economy cabin with 36 seats in a 2-4-2 layout, alongside a 240-seat Economy Class cabin in a 3-3-3 configuration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All cabins feature updated inflight entertainment and modern cabin finishes designed for long-haul comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
