SEATTLE\u2014<\/strong> Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines (ET)<\/a> have confirmed a firm order for nine Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, strengthening Africa\u2019s largest carrier\u2019s long-haul growth strategy as international travel demand continues to rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly ordered aircraft are the 787-9 variant, which Ethiopian Airlines will deploy to support its expanding intercontinental network serving 145 international destinations.
