DUBAI\u2014 <\/strong>Emirates (EK)<\/a>\u00a0has announced a significant capacity increase on its Dubai\u2013Manila route, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Philippines and its broader<\/span> Southeast Asia network. From 2 April 2026, the airline will introduce four additional weekly flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila (MNL), taking total weekly services to 32.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion strengthens connectivity between Dubai (DXB)<\/a> and Manila (MNL) while improving onward access across Emirates\u2019 global network. The added frequencies are designed to meet the sustained demand from corporate travelers, overseas Filipino workers, marine customers, and leisure passengers traveling between the Philippines and key global markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates Adds More Flights to Manila<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The four new services will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays under flight numbers EK330 and EK331. EK330 will depart Dubai at 12:45 local time, arriving in Manila at 01:25 the following day, while the return service will leave Manila at 03:25 and land back in Dubai at 08:25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates will deploy its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the route, offering a three-class configuration. The aircraft features eight private First Class suites, 42 lie-flat Business Class seats, and 304 Economy Class seats, ensuring consistent capacity and product standards across all additional flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the expanded schedule, passengers will benefit from improved departure options and more flexible travel planning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new timings also support shorter connection windows to destinations across Europe, North America, and the Middle East via Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The additional Manila flights will enhance connections to late-morning European departures, including cities such as Milan, London, Budapest, and Athens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improved transfer options are also expected for travellers heading to Canada and the United States, particularly those relying on efficient same-day connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onboard, travellers will continue to experience Emirates\u2019 full-service offering across all cabins. This includes regionally inspired meals, complimentary beverages, and access to the airline\u2019s ice inflight entertainment system, which provides over 6,500 channels in more than 40 languages, including Tagalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ticket sales for the expanded schedule are available through the airline\u2019s official website, mobile application, travel agents, and Emirates retail stores. The increase aligns with Emirates\u2019 broader strategy of deploying capacity where long-haul demand remains structurally strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond passenger demand, the four additional weekly flights will significantly boost cargo capacity between the UAE and the Philippines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Boeing 777-300ER can carry up to 20 tonnes of bellyhold cargo on a full passenger flight, supporting both imports and exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion comes at a strategic time, following the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and the Philippines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates\u2019 expanded presence in Manila, along with services to Cebu and Clark, positions the airline to support growing bilateral trade and supply chain requirements across Europe, the United States, and the Indian subcontinent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
