The announcement comes amid major structural changes at PIA following its partial privatization. A consortium led by Arif Habib Corporation has emerged as the winning bidder for a 75 percent stake in the airline, with a bid valued at 135 billion Pakistani rupees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The consortium has confirmed that Fauji Fertiliser Company Limited has joined as a strategic partner. Both entities are expected to play active roles in management and operational oversight once regulatory approvals are completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new owners have pledged significant investment, including 125 billion rupees in the first year to improve ground operations, service quality, and fleet utilization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
