Closed-Door Business Class Suites

Singapore Airlines plans to introduce its new closed-door Business Class suites on the Airbus A350 Long Haul from the second quarter of 2026.

The airline aims to complete the full fleet retrofit by late 2030, although similar programs have historically taken longer than initially projected.

While Brisbane may not be among the first destinations to receive the new seats, continued A350 Long Haul deployment positions the route alongside Sydney and Melbourne, both of which already see flights operated by this aircraft type.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" Line

Singapore Airlines’ decision to restore long-haul cabin products on the Singapore–Brisbane route from November 2026 strengthens the route’s appeal for premium and long-haul travelers.

The upgrade of SQ265/266 to the Airbus A350 Long Haul reintroduces Premium Economy and increases Business Class capacity.

For passengers connecting between Australia, Europe, Africa, and the Indian subcontinent, the change delivers consistent comfort across the entire journey.

Compared with 2018, when all four daily flights featured long-haul seating, this represents a measured but meaningful step toward rebuilding Brisbane’s long-haul product offering.

Stay tuned with us.
