NEW YORK-<\/strong> JetBlue Airways (B6)<\/a> has introduced \u201cWicked Blue,\u201d a specially painted Airbus A320 honoring more than 20 years of service in Boston. The aircraft reflects the airline\u2019s strong community ties and sustained growth at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boston remains one of JetBlue\u2019s most important markets, supporting network expansion, new international routes, and the upcoming BlueHouse\u2122 lounge, while reinforcing the airline\u2019s JetForward growth strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue Wicked Blue livery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wicked Blue is named after a New England slang term meaning \u201cextremely\u201d and serves as a visual tribute to JetBlue\u2019s Boston roots. The livery is applied to an Airbus A320<\/a> registered as N537JT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft\u2019s tail features a postcard-style stamp marking the date of JetBlue\u2019s first-ever revenue flight from Boston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across the blue fuselage, a large \u201cBOSTON\u201d graphic incorporates city-inspired illustrations that highlight Boston\u2019s history, culture, and landmarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each letter in the design includes distinct visual elements, such as an ode to Boston\u2019s iconic transportation system, the Paul Revere statue in the North End, the Zakim Bridge anchoring the skyline, a classic Boston lobster, the Massachusetts State House with its golden dome, and the National Grid tank along the Dorchester waterfront featuring the well-known \u201cRainbow Swash\u201d mural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue President Marty St. George stated that Wicked Blue represents pride in the Boston community, JetBlue crewmembers, and customers who helped shape the airline\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that Boston has a large and loyal customer base and plays a central role in JetBlue\u2019s JetForward strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to St. George, Boston is a key driver of JetBlue\u2019s goal to deliver the strongest East Coast leisure network, making the aircraft a meaningful way to thank customers who have supported the airline for more than two decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetBlue launched service at Boston Logan International Airport<\/a> in 2004 and has since become Boston\u2019s biggest airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
