DUBLIN-<\/strong> Aer Lingus (EI)<\/a> will introduce a new transatlantic route connecting Dublin (DUB) and Pittsburgh (PIT) as part of its 2026 network expansion. This marks the airline\u2019s second long haul announcement for 2026, following the launch of its upcoming Raleigh\u2013Durham (RDU) service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new route provides Pittsburgh with an additional year-round transatlantic option at a time when the market has limited international access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to OMAAT<\/a>, the expansion reflects Aer Lingus\u2019 strategy of targeting secondary US markets supported by strong demand and airport incentives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aer Lingus New Route to Pittsburgh<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Aer Lingus (EI) will begin operating flights between Dublin and Pittsburgh on May 25, 2026. The service will run 4 times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight EI81 departs Dublin at 4:10 PM and arrives in Pittsburgh at 7:10 PM. Flight EI80 departs Pittsburgh at 8:40 PM and lands in Dublin at 8:40 AM the following day. The 3,444 mile route is blocked for 8 hours westbound and 7 hours eastbound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Airbus A321LR\/XLR will operate the route, offering 184 seats consisting of 16 business class seats and 168 economy seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
